Run! Gun! Smash! Jump! Fly! Bomb! Mighty Goose is on the loose, and you’re almost guaranteed to feel sorry for those who come between him and the Void King (aka. big baddie of the game). Except you’ll be too busy wreaking havoc to care, or even notice, as enemies are blown to smithereens, left, right, up and down. How about a honk for the legendary bounty hunter?
I guess the screenshot atop this article doesn’t exactly show just how awesome Mighty Goose looks when everything is exploding all around its protagonist, but that’s what the trailer below is for. The road to that Void King punk is going to be full of massive pixellated explosions, and I would have it no other way. In fact, I’d say this one looks heavily inspired by the run-and-gun classics, only with even more mayhem, weapons, upgrades to acquire, and groovy secrets to discover.
Use epic weapons and devastating war machines to battle against screen filling bosses and hordes of enemies!
What, assist characters and vehicles? Of course! Wouldn’t be a complete experience of this kind without those, and I believe… that’s a charge meter of sorts in the upper left corner of the screen. Might Mighty Goose be able to honk really loud and pull off a Super Saiyan transformation after filling it? Yeah right. Wrong universe for such shenanigans. Relying on guns and war machines to eventually bust down the Void King’s door and end his galaxy conquest crusade once and for all. Kaboom!
