“Sometimes Evil Wins” According to September’s Edition of MAGS

Why do the good guys always win? Such a weird thing, but at least for the latest edition of MAGS, we’ll get to experience what happens when they don’t; because Sometimes Evil Wins!

But first, how about a glance at the game(s) that came to be during MAGS August? As always, links with screenshots can be found below, and don’t forget about MAGS September now.

Cutman (GOC Games)
The Champ is facing his toughest fight yet and you, as his trusted cutman, must patch him back together between rounds. Get it right and glory shall be yours. Get it wrong and he’ll be flat on the canvas…and you’ll be looking for a new job.

State of Mind (Slasher)
Barry has the sick man blues and has lost his mojo…..He is very depressed and has not gone out, eaten or slept properly for weeks…. Can his friends help him raise his vibrations and get a better state of mind? A journey into healing….

Barry seeking Guru Sanjay’s help when he loses his mojo… Can he help him get it back and end his sick man blues?

The Potion Master (CaptainD and Kastchey)
Markus, the young apprentice of a local potion master, has barely started his apprenticeship when trouble began – his master, Zabella, was found lifeless (but not quite dead) on the floor of her own underground lab. The local doctor can only do so much, leaving it up to Markus to investigate his master’s mysterious collapse and -hopefully- find a way to cure her.

Whenever a big AAA title claims it'll "innovate with groundbreaking features", it usually turns out to be a snore-fest; one which simply mimics other games (poorly). This is where my interest indie game interest comes from: pick a random title from a pile of these, and chances are you’ll end up with something genuinely unique - often for well less than $60 too.
