MAGS May’s Theme Seeks Answers to the Question “What are they doing in there?”

MAGS May’s Theme Seeks Answers to the Question “What are they doing in there?”

Uncertainty and mystery await in this month’s MAGS theme with a question only you can answer, by making a game that somehow ends up revealing “What are they doing in there?”… in 31 days or less. Potentially infinite ways to strut your (creative) stuff this time.

But… that’s MAGS May. What about MAGS April? It did give us no less than four new games after all, so what are you waiting for? It’s time to play some groovy free adventure games

TRAVELERS (Prototype) (LostTrainDude)
TRAVELERS is a prototype. The gameplay progressively and purposely loses purpose the more you play.

The Era-Gone Trail (Mandle)
You are a tiny mammal trying to evade the destruction of the meteor impact that killed off the dinosaurs.
If you can make it to the end of the era you will be able to evolve and possibly thrive (in the full version).

Shamrock High School: Graduation (VampireWombat)
Game made for April MAGS.

Heroes of Wyrdale (Jack)
The Central Union Council has been placed in a weaker position, and as adventurers you have come to this planet to take advantage of that fact to directly take on the council and the robots protecting them.

Whenever a big AAA title claims it'll "innovate with groundbreaking features", it usually turns out to be a snore-fest; one which simply mimics other games (poorly). This is where my interest indie game interest comes from: pick a random title from a pile of these, and chances are you’ll end up with something genuinely unique - often for well less than $60 too.
