There isn’t another dog quite like Biscuit, which is a shame. Then again, there probably are, actually, seeing how search-and-rescue dogs are a thing in the real world. Even so, none of them can hold a candle to Biscuit, the superhero Corgi, Lost and Hound‘s pawsome protagonist. Are you ready to help those in need of crime-solving, tracking someone down, or something else entirely? Biscuit certainly is!
Who needs humans, anyway? When Biscuit is on the case, heightened senses and all, it’s just a matter of time before everything’s fine and everyone’s happy again. Walls? Distance? Hardly an obstacle for this Corgi. Stand still for a moment to concentrate, and you’ll be surprised to find just how much a trained doggo like Biscuit is able to hear! That also goes for scent, as in Lost and Hound, it’s represented by a low, pleasant humming sound. In fact, I’d almost say that Biscuit is cheating, able to hear and detect scents on a level well above human beings… but that’s just how man’s best friend works, ya know? Oh, and obviously, even more so in video games. Because, well, video games.
Lost and Hound is a scent hound adventure following the reluctant yet strong-willed Corgi, Biscuit. Hunt down criminals, help people that are in trouble or lost, solve mysteries and save lives in this blind-accessible canine story.
Biscuit ain’t limited to simply working local cases either, as – finances willing – there’s plenty in need across Australia, Japan, Switzerland, and even the American wilderness. Quite the varied set of locales, much like the mission types, which include assisting with seizure and cancer detection in a hospital and sheep herding, on top of those previously mentioned. Might sound like a lot of work for a lone doggo, but along the way, Biscuit will meet new animal friends, so perhaps it won’t be a solo gig all the time?
Lost and Hound is available on Steam with a $24.99 price tag.
