Few have braved these hazardous caverns. Even fewer live to tell the tale. But perhaps there’s a tiny chance you have what it takes, to venture Inside The Crystal Mountain and come out on the other side with a story for the ages?
Or, more likely, you’ll perish to the relentless pace, succumbing to the neverending onslaught of… actually, I’m not even sure what to call it/them. Quite stylish though, that much is certain, and not just the enemies either. Might be a tad tricky to take it all in, given the intense battles you’ll be forced to fight, but that doesn’t change the fact.
With an entire mountain to explore, it’s hardly all that surprising to find a shortcut or two. Another sentient, seemingly non-hostile being? Now that’s, well, definitely something. Can any of them be trusted, though? Can you? Better grab every upgrade you come across and keep in mind that death isn’t the end, because – it isn’t.
I’m sure you’re wondering what could be worth that much effort, right? Honestly, I’m not sure. I didn’t make the game, after all, nor did I play it before writing this here news piece. But I do think you should. Looks pretty sweet after all, and aren’t you even a little curious?
Inside The Crystal Mountain is available on Steam, with a $7.99 price tag.
