‘INDIE Live Expo Winter 2023’ Submissions Open

September 27th, 2023 Wraithkal News

It’s go time! Wait, no. Not yet. Well, it is most certainly time for INDIE Live Expo Winter 2023 submissions, but the event itself is still a couple of months away. It’s free though, so what are you waiting for? Details? Oh, I suppose. If I absolutely must.

So, simply put, anyone interested in taking part in the showcase has until October 5 (or 4, depending on your time zone) to submit their new game reveal(s), news on one or more upcoming titles, any major updates for previously released games, and/or a sale, to hopefully end up featured on the stream, come May 20 or May 21. Platforms TBD.

“Knowing how incredible the submissions have been in the previous years, we are beyond excited to see what the talented creators around the world have been up to.” Said Ryuta Konuma, Founder and CEO, Ryu’s Office.

Adding to the fun times we have… let’s see… ah, the INDIE Live Expo Awards are also on the menu this year, “honoring fan-favorite games released between October 2022 and September 2023”. Very interesting. Especially that part about “fan-favorite”, although I’m probably reading too much into that. We’ll see.

Oh, and last but by no means least, how about a digital magazine created in an effort to help developers and publishers get the word out? To further sweeten the deal, INDIE Live Expo Letter is free!

To summarize: INDIE Live Expo Winter 2023 is set to take place on December 2 and 3, with a submission deadline of March 28, and the INDIE Live Expo Letter is available… well, right now.

Whenever a big AAA title claims it'll "innovate with groundbreaking features", it usually turns out to be a snore-fest; one which simply mimics other games (poorly). This is where my interest indie game interest comes from: pick a random title from a pile of these, and chances are you’ll end up with something genuinely unique - often for well less than $60 too.
