‘INDIE Live Expo Winter 2022’: World Premieres, Announcements, Updates – Are You Ready?

For the sixth time, INDIE Live Expo will be taking over the streaming sphere later this year when INDIE Live Expo Winter 2022 kicks off two days of “world premieres, announcements for anticipated upcoming indie games, and updates on indie games out now”. But wait, there’s more…

INDIE Live Expo Winter 2022 will be streamed on YouTube (maybe more, although at this point, I believe only YouTube has been confirmed), in English and Japanese, spanning not one, but two days. When? Oh, on December 3 and 4, 2022. Still a bit of time left, although sadly, so are the winter months; unless you live in a certain country, in which case… I’m a little jealous.

Right. Anyway, the INDIE Live Expo Awards will be making a return, honoring the best indie games from October 2021 to September 2022, picked by “a worldwide panel of prestigious game journalists and experts”. Not bad. Oh, and INDIE Live Expo 2022 set quite the record: 15.5 million views for the two-day showcase with more than 400 titles! Not bad either. Genuinely impressive, some might say. I certainly would.

Now, last but by no means least, how about a digital magazine, like, say, the INDIE Live Expo Letter? Its goal is to help developers and publishers get the word out about their titles, and it’s free, so might as well!

Whenever a big AAA title claims it'll "innovate with groundbreaking features", it usually turns out to be a snore-fest; one which simply mimics other games (poorly). This is where my interest indie game interest comes from: pick a random title from a pile of these, and chances are you’ll end up with something genuinely unique - often for well less than $60 too.
