‘INDIE Live Expo Winter 2022’ Game Submissions Now Open

In spite of INDIE Live Expo Winter 2022 still being a bit off in the not-so-distant future (as you may recall), there’s already some fun news regarding the highly anticipated indie game stream: submissions are now open! Nominations? Oh, that ship has long since sailed, public voting commencing mid-November.

So, simply put, anyone interested in taking part in the showcase has until October 24 to submit their new game reveals, news on upcoming titles, and major updates for previously-released games, to (hopefully) end up featured on the stream, come December 3 (available titles) and 4 (upcoming titles) on YouTube, in English, Japanese, and Chinese.

“Every year, we’re astonished by the response we get when we open up submission, as we see so many incredible titles from talented creators around the world,” said Ryuta Konuma, Founder and CEO, Ryu’s Office.

Oh, and how about a digital magazine that aims to help developers and publishers get the word out there? To further sweeten the deal, INDIE Live Expo Letter is free!

To summarize: INDIE Live Expo Winter 2022 on December 3 and 4, submission deadline on October 24, and INDIE Live Expo Letter… well, right now.

Whenever a big AAA title claims it'll "innovate with groundbreaking features", it usually turns out to be a snore-fest; one which simply mimics other games (poorly). This is where my interest indie game interest comes from: pick a random title from a pile of these, and chances are you’ll end up with something genuinely unique - often for well less than $60 too.
