No, that’s not a typo: more than 300 games will be showcased at this year’s INDIE Live Expo, and real soon too! As far as the lineup goes, well, they’re keeping that aspect well under lock and key, although we do know that both last-gen/current-gen console and PC titles will all be part of it.
For some reason or other, the show will be divided into three separate parts: INDIE Live Premiere will focus on upcoming titles, INDIE Picks is about currently available games, while INDIE Waves consists of 15-second bites of current and upcoming games, sprinkled throughout the show. Interesting setup and that’s not all either as the reveal of a brand new project from WHY SO SERIOUS? is also on the menu. Well color me intrigued!
The English language stream (YouTube, Twitch) will be hosted by Japanese idol, Kaori ‘Kaotan’ Horiuchi with Japanese comedian Atsugiri Jason and bilingual content creator and presenter J-mon as her co-hosts. Won’t be a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it type of super short event either as a five-hour time slot has been booked, INDIE Live Expo 2021 kicking off on June 5 at 2:00 AM PDT.
