‘Haunt the House: Terrortown’ Gets Spooky On PlayStation Mobile

‘Haunt the House: Terrortown’ Gets Spooky On PlayStation Mobile

SFB Games have been making games for quite a while now, as can be seen on their official website, but Haunt the House: Terrortown is their first handheld console release and I’d say it looks mighty spiffy. You play as a ghost with the power to possess objects and move them around in an attempt to send chills up the spine of those nearby with a little poltergeist action; just be careful not to scare them too much, because no one knows what might happen then!

While your main objective is to turn the place into a ghost town (get it?), the developer hints at a second objective in this post on the official PlayStation Blog. Exactly what they’re referring to is anyone’s guess, but with plenty of objects and locations, along with quite a lot of different people to scare, it certainly sounds like a haunting good time. If only I had a PlayStation Mobile or a PlayStation certified Android device, so I could actually play it!

But hey, at least the original 2010 browser game can still be played (for free) on Armor Games, so there’s always that option. While the PlayStation Mobile version is not free, $3.49/£2.79/€3.49 for a chance to scare the living daylights out of people on your handheld device is hardly a bad deal. Even though PS Mobile titles lack those oh-so-important trophies, I’d say it’s time for you to go make sure that the citizens of Terrortown won’t be going “I ain’t ‘fraid of no ghosts” anymore!

Whenever a big AAA title claims it'll "innovate with groundbreaking features", it usually turns out to be a snore-fest; one which simply mimics other games (poorly). This is where my interest indie game interest comes from: pick a random title from a pile of these, and chances are you’ll end up with something genuinely unique - often for well less than $60 too.
