Summer is rapidly approaching, and Gamescom 2021 is hot on its heels. Except, like Indie Arena Booth and many other gaming-related events this year, it’s going to be fully digital. Nothing physical. Everything happens online. Except Gamescom will be a hybrid of sorts. Yeah. I don’t know. Oh, right: Indie Arena Booth is open for game submissions!
The whole ‘fully digital’ concept is nothing new to Indie Arena Booth either, as they did it in 2020 too. This time, however, things will be ever so slightly different (and better), as they’ve “finetuned the platform and gathered experience with our other online events and it runs much smoother”. Definitely looking forward to seeing that in action. A full list of changes can be found here, and since that’s not the reason for this article’s existence, let’s move on to the main event.
Without you Indie Arena Booth Online wouldn’t be complete: We would love to showcase your game and are so excited for your game submissions!
Interested developers have until May 16th to submit their game, and I would strongly recommend doing so, as Indie Arena Booth has proven a proper good place to “connect with devs, consumers, press and literally everyone who wants to take part”. Mingle! Socialize! All from behind a computer screen this year. Maybe the state of the world will have improved enough for next year’s outing to return to its physical roots. Fingers crossed. But for now, May 16th!
