What’s a palaeontologist to do once retirement age comes around? Collect fossils of course! Well, maybe not every palaeontologist, but the one in Fossil Corner seems to have a knack for finding these… through evolutionary puzzles (wait, what?).
No, really. By unscrambling procedurally puzzle boxes and completing the family tree within, a single randomly generated fossil snail and trilobites will be awarded. Gotta collect ’em all. You can even share them with your friends by way of unique Species Codes. Doesn’t sound like a bad time to me. Except you’ll never get a complete collection, as there seems to be a near-infinite amount. Oh well.
Stare out the window. Watch the leaves blow by and hear the sounds of fall
Oh, and be sure to check your email every so often… on a computer so old it could have been put together with the help of a dinosaur. Still works though, and in this day and age, it’s your best bet for keeping up with old friends. Really old friends. Like you. You’re old. But don’t let that stop you from expanding that fossil collection!
Fossil Corner is available on Steam and itch.io, carrying a $9.99 price tag.
