Submissions have been made, the deadline for entries has come and gone, nominees have been found; the first-ever Emotional Game Awards is almost here! Almost, but not quite. Don’t let that stop you from taking a glance at the list below though, as I’m sure at least a couple of the picks will be familiar. And if that’s not the case… well, you’re missing out on some truly great indie (mostly, anyway) games. I mean, Papo & Yo is among them. Papo & Yo!
February 12th, 2016. Mark your calendar, because on that day, the Emotional Game Awards will be making its online (and TV!) debut. Oh and two days prior, on the 10th, there are games to jam. A game jam. Jam. Games. Something! Ones with a strong emphasis on emotional impact, one way or another, are to be made during this 40-hour (note: not 48), and intent to participate needs to be registered before February 7th.
