Mini-games! Fox spirits! Dragons! A big bad evil to vanqui– wait. That last one? Yeah, no. Dragon Caffi is a chill experience about Margo, a young fox spirit well on the way to becoming… a world-class baker! Beats taking on some big, bad, ancient evil, and it’s bound to taste better too.
Oh, but there’s so much more to the experience than simply gathering ingredients and cooking up a storm. An utterly delicious storm, but still – someone has to chase those pesky Zombooshies out of the Bok-Bok pens (wait, what?) and make sure the mail gets delivered. Then again, with over 100 unique dishes, it’s probably safe to say that the food aspect gets prioritized rather highly. Which is by no means a bad thing. Food is justice.
Did I mention how Margo’s adopted into a family of dragons? So much for those guys always being evil, vindictive, treasure-hoarding bullies, eh? I’m sure they’ll still gladly grab a pie or two (or ten) as soon as they’re out to cool off, though. And is there any greater treasure than fresh-out-the-oven pastries, cookies, and other baked goods? I think not.
Dragon Caffi is an open-world puzzle adventure game of pure, lighthearted happiness suitable for all ages!
Your objective in Dragon Caffi? Oh, nothing overly complicated, really: discover the joy that food brings to others, share a treat with loved ones, make groovy memories, and… have a great time!
Dragon Caffi is available on Steam ($24.99) and Switch ($29.99).
