The time has come to clean up the solar system. There are far too many planets and, unsurprisingly, you have been tasked with doing something about that. By merging them… to create even bigger planets! Bit of a Cosmic Collapse, you know?
With no time limit, one would think there’d also be no stress. I have a feeling that’s not entirely the case though, as creating massive chains through strategic play is possible, if not straight-up encouraged. While this might sound super useful on paper, in practice, I’d wager there is at least one potential problem that might rear its ugly head: small planets.
Totally accurate simulation of celestial bodies
I suppose you could just use missiles to get rid of leftover bits and pieces once you get far enough, but until then, again, strategic play. Or you won’t get far, meaning you also won’t rack up all that many points. In an arcade-style puzzle game like this, those things matter. A lot. Nah, they’re just bragging rights. But do not underestimate the importance of such.
Cosmic Collapse is available on Steam and itch.io, carrying a $4.95 price tag.
