Ain’t much fun being forced to work for the People’s Mining Company, running ground-to-orbit shipments at the Camp 1 drilling site, that’s for sure. Fortunately for Korski, he’s almost done. Just one final shipment, after which he’s free to live as he pleases. Provided he can stay alive long enough that is because something’s not quite right about this place. Not right at all.
In this short pointy and clicky adventure, you’ll be stepping into the shoes of Korski (surprise!), as he preps that one last shipment, interacts with the rest of the crew, and solves a few puzzles – you know, typical genre stuff. It all starts with him needing to have a cargo form signed, only the darn thing has gone missing, and from there… well, that piece of paper will soon be the least of his concerns. You’ll see.
A short, dark story about bureaucracy, penal labor, isolation and desperation.
On a related note, the game’s blend of gloomy art and proper ambient audio certainly definitely helps set the mood for what is by no means a lighthearted story, and one that might not even have a happy ending to boot! What? Just saying. It could though, but the opposite is quite possible, given the whole ‘just one shipment to go, then I’m free’ for our weary protagonist. Wouldn’t surprise me one bit.
The only way to find out is to take it for a spin, which will only set you back a bit of time as Camp 1 carries no price tag. So… what are you waiting for? Korski needs your help!
