Attend ‘Alibi: The Dinner Party’ to (Maybe) Unravel the Truth

September 12th, 2023 Wraithkal News

A luxurious dinner party at a luxurious villa. Sounds pretty good to me, although unfortunately, the evening ended on a less-than-stellar note as a less-than-luxurious murder occurred. Not that murders are ever luxurious though, not even in fiction. Right. Anyway, hope you’re ready for some detective work because only YOU can solve this mystery!

Clues! Alibis! Motives! Secrets! Everybody has something or other to hide. The culprit was one of the guests, the victim was the house owner, party host, and a close friend of yours. That is all you know. Trust no one. Question everyone. Only then shall the truth be revealed.

Step into a world filled with intriguing clues, quirky characters, and a lighthearted yet captivating atmosphere.

Chances are at least one person will have a secret that they’d prefer keeping a big ol’ lock on… but that doesn’t necessarily mean they committed the murder, or even that they’re guilty of anything remotely sinister. In other words, as far as I can tell – from the trailer and game description – this one is bound to be a rather puzzling visual novel murder mystery, which sounds pretty darn good to me.

Alibi: The Dinner Party is available on Steam for $10.99.

Whenever a big AAA title claims it'll "innovate with groundbreaking features", it usually turns out to be a snore-fest; one which simply mimics other games (poorly). This is where my interest indie game interest comes from: pick a random title from a pile of these, and chances are you’ll end up with something genuinely unique - often for well less than $60 too.
