Let’s Hear it for the Groovy Winners of the 20th Annual AGS Awards

Much as it pains me to admit, I missed the streaming of the 20th annual AGS Awards. Fortunately, it was archived on Twitch, and I’d definitely recommend watching it. Lots of groovy games were made with Adventure Game Studio in 2020 and really, what better way to find out who won? I suppose you could just keep reading instead… but then you’d miss out on a great ceremony.

Whenever a big AAA title claims it'll "innovate with groundbreaking features", it usually turns out to be a snore-fest; one which simply mimics other games (poorly). This is where my interest indie game interest comes from: pick a random title from a pile of these, and chances are you’ll end up with something genuinely unique - often for well less than $60 too.
