Many Steam users don’t check or even notice most Greenlight additions; there are simply too many, making it rather time-consuming. Hoping to alleviate this problem somewhat, I bring you The Greenlight Groove, featuring my recommendation(s) from the past week!
Double Death
It’s the year 20XX. Zombies exist. They’re killing people. Terrible stories are now acceptable by the general public, and you’ve found yourself smack in the middle of one. Scared of becoming just another background character, you’ve decided to survive.
Riftgate
Riftgate is a sci-fi tactical war game about territory and control. You can play through an entire battle on your coffee break and the game map is different each time you play.
Binaries
Test your reflexes and awareness as you simultaneously guide two lovable(1) balls through a series of brightly coloured challenges in the world’s first(2) concentration platform game. Control both at the same time using the same set of controls – when one moves left so does the other – and watch out for hazards colour matching the little tykes.
World’s Dawn
Inspired by the Harvest Moon series, World’s Dawn is a colorful life sim set in the sleepy farming village of Sugar Blossom. It features vibrant top-down graphics and all of the charming gameplay you’ve come to expect from the genre — growing crops, tending livestock, building friendships, dating, fishing, foraging, mining, cooking, attending markets and festivals, and more!
Neon Chrome
Blast your way through walls with guns and cybernetic abilities and try alternate approaches with different roles like the Assassin or the Cyber Psycho. Upgrade your character stats, discover new cybernetic enhancements and build up strength to finally face the Overseer. Every death is a new beginning – the path to defeating the Overseer is never the same.
Deliver Us The Moon
Deliver Us The Moon is a survival/exploration adventure where a rogue astronaut from the WSA embarks on a do-or-die mission to the moon to save mankind from a rapidly depleting earth.
Giga Girl
Giga girl is a tribute to the golden age of console gaming – a retro shoot ‘n run platformer that follows in the footsteps of the NES era Mega man games. The game features 16-bit-ish graphics, awesome modern chiptune soundtrack and solid 8-bit MM style gameplay.
Wizard Detective
You are the Wizard Detective! An evil wizard is disguised as an ordinary person and only your Detect Magic Ritual can reveal who is under the power of evil magic. But to succeed, you’ll need to make some friends.
Deserted
Vast landscapes and towering spires bring our vision of isolation to life. Deserted inhabits an alien world thick with brooding forests and intimidating structures set against advanced alien architecture and hordes of unknown terrors waiting to end your journey. Nothing is easily given, our vision is to let forge a path that is unique and satisfying. Every secret and puzzle is designed to shape your experience and add depth to the narrative.
Into the Belly of the Beast
You play a small worm-like creature exploring the ocean with your children. Your journey starts when your offspring is suddenly swallowed by a giant sea monster. Desperately trying to rescue them, you follow them into the belly of the beast.
Night City Assault
Night City Assault takes the sprite based beat ’em up and invigorates it by adding RPG mechanics, a more robust fighting engine, Metroidvania style exploration and mission based campaign to create something unique, fun and engaging.
BOOR
BOOR is a beautiful puzzle-platformer where you take the role of a girl, in a quest to discover the secrets of a planet where she accidentaly landed. You’ll soon discover that you are not alone in the planet, but you have something by your side: the power to multiply yourself.
