The Greenlight Groove: Tin Star, Season of 12 colors and More

Greenlight

Many Steam users don’t check or even notice most Greenlight additions; there are simply too many, making it rather time consuming. Hoping to alleviate this problem somewhat, I bring you The Greenlight Groove, featuring my recommendations from the past week!

Way of Gold and Steel (GL)

Way of Gold and Steel
“Way of Gold and Steel” is a relaxing real time strategy game with rogue-like elements. It will not confuse you with needlessly complex features nor hurry you. You can brew a cup of coffee, make yourself comfortable in your chair, and watch your nimble pirate minions carry out your orders.

Reincarnation: The Root of All Evil (GL)

Reincarnation: The Root of All Evil (@reincarny) [Kickstarter]
The Root of All Evil is a classic point ‘n click adventure with a twist of evil. Play as Vile the demon, right hand man of Lucifer himself (aka Luke). Vile has just captured his 1 millionth soul and every demon in hell is out to celebrate with him. After waking up the following morning with a roaring hangover, Vile has a sobering realization, discovering that all hell has broken loose! You must explore both hell and the human realm to solve the mystery of the escaping souls and restore hell to its former glory.

O’Sirus the Snip is a simple paper farmer driven to epic adventure by a spooky face with a spookier voice. He will ultimately seek to become a Knobbcrookian royal guard–a Guffaloon. Stories of their heroic battles against the fearsome Bogold empire echo throughout the Crook. Unfortunately, they’re not currently recruiting simple paper farmers. He’s going to have to use every dirty trick in his book to cheat his way to the top.

In the Wyrmsun universe a myriad of inhabited planets exist. Humans dwell on Earth, while dwarves inhabit Nidavellir and elves nourish the world of Alfheim. These peoples struggle to carve a place for themselves with their tools of stone, bronze and iron. And perhaps one day they will meet one another, beyond the stars…

Season of 12 colors (GL)

Season of 12 colors
“Season of 12 colors” is a Healing Visual Novel Series: four independent short stories around the same theme. “Summer:Message on the Paper Plane” is the first chapter that will be released. The other three chapters will be released later as DLC. “Paper Plane” is a partly nonlinear story about childhood memories. Collecting all pieces from different point-of-view, then the truth will emerge.

HUSH (GL)

HUSH (@gamestudio78)
Hush draws its inspiration from fears, particularly those we have all experienced in some way or another when we were children. This is the story of Ashlyn, as she finds herself in an orphanage that time forgot, surrounded by blood freezing phobias that will try to absorb her into oblivion. Your goal is to help Ashlyn face these fears, and then use them to your advantage in order to escape from this nightmarish place.

Tin Star (GL)

Tin Star
Ride out into the Old West as a U.S. marshal in the biggest interactive novel ever made! Tin Star is an interactive western mystery novel where your choices control the story. The game is entirely text-based–without graphics or sound effects–but powered by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination. It’s 1,376,197 words long. You’ll read 80,000 words each time you play. Confront outlaws, find romance, defy the elements, and craft an enduring legend as you uncover a conspiracy whose deadly web stretches from San Francisco to New York City.

Stray Cat Crossing (GL)

Stray Cat Crossing
You find yourself in a roadside clearing. A little girl named Cat is crying nearby. She needs you to take her home, where you’ll encounter bizarre monsters, ethereal places, and heart-wrenching secrets about Cat and her family.

Hatashiai (GL)

Hatashiai
Literally, the Japanese word “Kenjutsu” means the method or technique of sword. But in fact, Kenjutsu is a complicated melee weapon combat system, including the effective guards, flexible footwork and efficient coordination of the whole body. Our goal is to make Hatashiai the most serious sword fighting game ever produced, presenting how a real sword combat should be like.
