This time the spotlight will be shining on Not Your Space, a tactical affair across the vastness of space that’ll test your ability to manage… an entire fleet! So what say we help it escape the cold emptiness of Greenlight limbo in which no one can hear you scream?
A fast-paced sci-fi Real Time Strategy Game where you make the rules
A central design feature of Not Your Space is the ability of the player to customize major options for every new game. You enjoy researching new technology, but hate mining resources? Fine! Play it the way you want. Don’t have time to design your own ships? No problem!
See, this I like. This I really like. I mean, I enjoy breaking rules more than making them, but even so. Being able to tweak and customize, turning off things one player might find dull that another enjoys – why aren’t more like that? We’re talking AI skirmishes after all, so why shouldn’t the armchair general (aka. you, the player) be able to play how he/she wishes? That aside, even though the overarching plot does revolve around humanity’s struggle for survival, there are other playable races too, including the nasty-looking Vuline. Yeah. Shoo, Vuline. No slugs in my galaxy! Or something along those lines, ya know? War is war, and to the victor go the spoils, in… Not Your Space.
So riddle me this, dear reader: why is Not Your Space still struggling to get through Greenlight? It’s not out just yet, save for a demo. Even so, how about visiting its Greenlight page and handing over a ‘yes’ if you like what you see? Remember: your vote could make all the difference!
