This time the spotlight will be shining on Legionwood: Tale of the Two Swords, in which an ancient evil is about to awaken, and… you need to stop it! Let’s help it escape the cold emptiness of Greenlight limbo, eh?
The world has been at peace since the Great War ended 1000 years ago. Now, an ancient antagonist is ready to set in motion a plan that has been in the making for centuries. Take control of Lann Northshire, an ordinary peasant who is unwillingly thrown into a conflict that will soon engulf the entire world. The fate of Legionwood hangs in the balance.
Don’t you just hate when such long-lasting peace is broken by some evil jerk hell-bent on wreaking havoc and destruction across the land? I mean, sure, it’ll likely make for a great game with plenty of action, quests, damsels to save, and valiant heroes to create and/or meet/team up with, but still – evil is evil and evil is a pain in the you-know-what. You’ll have plenty of time to deal with it though, as the developer makes promise of a journey spanning more than twenty hours and over thirty locales to explore. Dungeons? Castles? Caves? Dark, sinister forests? Sprawling towns, complete with pubs in which to get completely smashed when on a break from fighting the good fight? Probably some of the above more than all, I’d wager.
So riddle me this, dear reader: why is Legionwood: Tale of the Two Swords still struggling to shine through Greenlight? It’s out already and without a price tag to boot, so… how about visiting its super shiny Greenlight page and handing over a ‘yes’ if you like what you see? Remember: your vote could make all the difference!
