It’s Midnight at the Celestial Palace! Or rather, Midnight at the Celestial Palace: Chapter I – of who’s to say how many – is upon us, and as such, the time has come for Greg and… an otter (wait, what?) to embark on what is bound to be a grand adventure. Together. Because that’s what humans and otters do in this pointy and clicky odd locale. Or maybe this is a special case. One unlike any… otter (nope, not sorry).
Not that the ‘why’ aspect matters a whole lot either way, because the fact is, a great peril looms (as foretold by its Steam page), and I bet you’ve already figured out this next bit. If not, well… the odd couple of Greg and – I kid ye not – Sir Squiggles are the only ones capable of doing something about it. Or maybe just Greg. Who knows? Their destination is certain at least: the Celestial Palace!
As for how they’ll get there, now that’s another matter entirely – one that seemingly involves a talking horse and quite possibly the largest skull you’ve ever laid eyes upon. Oh, and there are apparently interactive tunes too. Why? Well, why not? We already have talking animals, a ridiculously oversized skull, and various other comical oddities, so some musical intrigue isn’t exactly farfetched. All in the name of good pointy and clicky fun, ya know?
Midnight at the Celestial Palace: Chapter I is available from Steam, carrying a $9.99 price tag.
