Just as I was starting to wonder when we’d see another one of these, Valve pushes the Greenlight button, filling developers and fans everywhere with joy. Plus, no less than two from Stuck In Greenlight Limbo made the cut this time. Awesome!
So 38 games, eh? Man, that’s gonna push the service for sure. Or not. I’m gonna go with not. Was thrilled to see Little Racers STREET and Smooth Operators on the list though, as it goes to show how great an idea Stuck In Greenlight Limbo really is. I can’t help but feel bad for all those who didn’t make it though… but hey, maybe next time. Valve might even go all out then, seeing how Christmas is rapidly approaching. Would be fun to see yet another batch of 100, that’s for sure.
My favourites in this one include Toki Remake, since the original arcade game is a timeless classic and Gunman Clive, which I reviewed way back. Paradise Lost: First Contact is another one I’m hopeful about, along with the futuristic racer, Death Road. Other than that, not the most exciting batch, if I’m completely honest.
This is the collection of titles Greenlit on November 12th, 2013 and offered worldwide distribution via Steam.
In spite of that, and amidst all the celebrations, we mustn’t forget that there is a ridiculous amount of games still on Greenlight, trying to rack up enough votes. Need recommendations? Well, each week I add another of the most interesting amongst the oldest submissions to Stuck In Greenlight Limbo. So how about showing them some appreciation, before checking out the list of 40, eh? Pretty please? You know you want to. Remember, your vote matters!
