I don’t know about you, but I tend to prefer my bed & breakfast accommodations to be… well, not haunted. Unfortunately, Corinne – Corinne Cross’s Dead & Breakfast protagonist – is not so lucky, as the home she’s agreed to look after for an acquaintance is very much haunted. Oh, and every last ghost, however eccentric, is also a guest – a paying customer as it were. So, you know, show them some respect.
Or you could just go nuts during your week-long stay at the B&B, I suppose, smashing everything, creating a grand ol’ riot. Just kidding. Not an option. At least, I don’t think it is. Either way, there’s a lot to see and do, otherworldly characters to strike up a conversation with, food to cook, and plants to take care of, among other things. Also, interactions change depending on whether it’s bright outside or the middle of the night. Just a little something to keep in mind.
On a related note, you’d do well to choose each action carefully, as choices will determine which of the many endings you’ll get, once all is said and done. Might be something terrible, or the best thing ever, and then you get to do it all (and more) again in New Game+. Groovy AND spooky. Think you’ve got what it takes to run Corinne Cross’s Dead & Breakfast? Its guests may have a thing or two to say about that…
Corinne Cross’s Dead & Breakfast is available from Steam and directly, at $4.99.
