It’s been a while since we last saw something new in the world of BADLAND, and at the time, it was limited to those with a device running iOS. Android? Took a while, but just like BADLAND 2 – very recently (hasn’t even been on Google Play for 24 hours yet!), it finally made the leap. Oh, and did I mention the port doesn’t even carry a price tag?
The reason for this is of course that, as was the case with the original when that hit Android, they opted for an ad-based release, with a single IAP to remove them. Simple as that and honestly, a great alternative to having several different versions for a demo and such. Through fiery flames, frozen tundras and more, this one’ll take ya – just like its precursor, only bigger and more… BADLAND. In BADLAND 2. Because sequel.
One of the key differences from the first BADLAND is that the sequel allows you to fly & scroll into all four directions for a more explorative, immersive and adventurous gaming experience.
No really, it’s a ‘more of everything’, and that’s by no means a bad thing. Even if the title has BAD in it. Anyway, the free version doesn’t have nonsense like energy bars or in-game currency. Just ads, which can be removed by spending $3.99 / €3.99 / £2.99 on a single IAP, after which it’s all good. Or BAD. BADLAND 2. Right. Enough BAD jokes.
