In more than a few ways, the dystopian world of Backbone resembles ours, what with its corrupt politicians, citizens/society divided into classes and all that dreadful stuff. There is one key difference however: it's inhabited by anthropomorphic animals. At the heart of it all we find Howard Lotor, a private investigator who... well, has trouble fitting in, so to speak. Something tells me his next case is going to be a change for the better (maybe?).

Inked Breathes New Life Into Puzzle Platformers With Stunningly Vibrant Visuals

In most games, the protagonist comes from the mind of its creator - the developer, as it were. Not so with Inked, as here, the playable fella is drawn to life. By Adam, a comic book artist. A character on a piece of paper, and yet... very much alive. Just like his creator. Weird stuff for sure, and to top it off, our nameless hero (the protagonist, not the artist) is on a quest to find his lost love, Aiko. Aww.

Gotta Go Fast (and Drink Lots of Coffee) In Upcoming Super Hyperactive Ninja

While not a coffee-drinker myself, I can certainly see the appeal. Wait, no, I actually can't. Then again, so what? Super Hyperactive Ninja's protagonist absolutely loves that stuff, and that's what this is all about after all! In fact, he/she will do anything to get his/her hands on some boiling hot caffeinated beverage, taking on all sorts of deadly foes - massive bosses included - to... stay awake as long as possible.

Cognition Episode 3: The Oracle Review

At this point I'm not sure how things could get any worse for Erica Reed. Six years ago she lost her brother to a ruthless killer, and more recently, gruesome events involving dismembered body parts occurred (no, really). Surely this is as bad as it gets, right? Wrong. Cognition Episode 3: The Oracle has barely begun before another mysterious case is thrown into her lap, triggered - to some extent - by her partner calling to say he'll be out of touch for a while... to check up on some old business. Yeah. Cue dramatic music and crank it up to eleven, because you-know-what is about to get real.

Wyoming’s Wilderness Hits the Road This Spring With Firewatch on Nintendo Switch

When first released - way back in 2016 - a portable version of Firewatch seemed like an impossible dream. It'd never run properly on a 3DS after all, and at that point, no one owned a Vita anymore, leaving Campo Santo with... no viable options. Until Nintendo stepped up their game in 2017 and doubled down on the handheld market, that is. Oh, and on a related note: this spring, Switch owners will be able to hit the road with Wyoming's wilderness. Literally.
