Speculating Screenshots (27th December 2014)

For most, weekends means two days off work with some much-needed R&R. But for game developers, it's also a time during which they get to show off what they've been working on. I am of course referring to Screenshot Saturday, which involves tweeting screenshots with the #ScreenshotSaturday hashtag. Screenshots which I will be critiquing some of every single Tuesday, in Speculating Screenshots.

Troll Song Aims to Point and Click the Survivors of a Trollicide In Late 2015

But there are times when you just want to take on the game itself, and now you can do exactly that!

Survival Racer Distance Races Onto Steam Early Access

While more than a few indie racers do exist, honestly, there aren't all that many truly great ones. Only ones that come to mind are Little Racers STREET and Nitronic Rush, the latter of which is not only free, but also just got a sequel - kinda. After a quick glance, it seems Distance has taken everything that made its precursor great and... added to it! Time to hit the neon-bathed track once more.
