Considering the amount of Kickstarter and Indiegogo campaigns developers launch nowadays, it's refreshing to see The Game Kitchen take a different route with The Last Door. They've resorted to donation-driven funding instead, with two stretch goals revealed, and more to come. Chapters one and two were released earlier this year, and now the third is almost ready… almost!

Lao’s Quest Has the Makings of a Great Rick Dangerous Tribute

Try as it might, my calendar won't convince me that it's 2013 after seeing the screenshot presented above. I'm positive that we're still in 1989, and that Rick Dangerous is back for a third adventure, although under a different name! Seriously though, even if Lao's Quest isn't a genuine Rick Dangerous title, it still has plenty in common with the 24 year old action platformer.

One Finger Death Punch Review (PC/XBLIG)

One stick figure ninja against an entire horde of enemies. They approach from the left, then right, then left again. Some require multiple hits to take down, other have an uncanny ability to dodge attacks, and then there are those… wait, did I mention this guy only has two buttons with which to defend himself? Also, he can't move. Some ninja, huh?
